The Bootle South area has been selected to receive up to £20million of government funding over ten years as part of the long- term investment Pride in Place programme.
The funding aims to bring the community together to identify local priorities, celebrate community strengths and develop a shared vision for the future of the Bootle South area.
The community consultation has started with the launch of the first Pride in Place survey: Complete the survey here...
The consultation will gather views on a range of topics including community spaces, public spaces, community activities and ideas for future improvements. Community members of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to take part.
Feedback will go directly into developing an investment plan that reflect the needs, aspirations and experiences of those who live, work and spend time in the area.
Stuart McGrory, Programme Manager said: “This survey is an opportunity for everyone in the Bootle South area to have their say. We want to hear from as many people as possible about what they value in their community, the challenges they face and ideas for making the area a better place to live, work and visit”.
Anyone who lives, works or studies in the area is invited to have your say. If you would like to find out more about Pride in Place Bootle South or would like a paper copy, please contact contact@prideinplacebootle.org.uk.
