Vision & Priorities

Pride in Place is an opportunity for local people to help shape the future of Bootle South.

Over the coming months, residents, organisations and local partners will work together to develop:

  • a shared 10-year vision

  • an initial 4-year investment plan

  • priorities for long-term community improvement

The programme will be shaped through community engagement and local participation.

Emerging Themes

Early priorities may include:

Cleaner and safer neighbourhoods

Improved public spaces

Support for local wellbeing

Local skills and opportunities

Stronger community connections

Opportunities for young people

Strengthening community facilities

These priorities will continue to evolve through engagement with residents and local stakeholders.

To contribute towards shaping these priorities you can join the Neighbourhood Board or stay involved with the latest community engagement events and other participatory activities.

Pride in Place Bootle South is managed by Sefton Council for Voluntary Service in partnership with Sefton Council as  the Accountable Body.  The Pride in Place programme is funded by the UK Government through the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government.
